Every Monte Hewett home meets, and more often exceeds, requirements set forth by Energy Star. A program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Energy Star label helps buyers of many types of products choose energy efficient options to lower their energy bills and protect the environment.

In the case of homes earning the Energy Star label, features such as effective insulation, high performance windows, tight construction and ducts, and efficient heating and cooling equipment create an indoor environment that conserves energy, reduces humidity and improves the overall comfort of your home. Every home is inspected by a third-party inspector before it is given the Energy Star certification.
